We are looking for partners to host the following booths for our "Reality Check" event, May 9th: 👉Bank, Chance, Charitable Contributions, Childcare, Clothing, Communications, Doctor, Entertainment, Furniture, Grocery, Housing, Insurance, Beauty, Supplemental Income/SOS Booth, Tag agency, Transportation/Vehicle, Utilities, and Check in/Check out.👈 Wondering what the "Reality Check" event is? We'll tell ya' 👇: For a brief two-hour period (and to the joy of mom and dad), seniors at Borger High School get a taste of what life is like on the other side. The event is called Reality Check and gives students foresight into what life may be like as an adult. Reality Check assigns each student a career, a salary, and a checkbook. Moreover, these students are randomly assigned a marital status and up to three children. Students are then released into the Dome where a mock community awaits. The community includes approximately 20 separate booths full of local businessmen and women who are eager to teach lessons on just how far a dollar can go. (This is where we need YOUR help!) The event involves partnerships where the school district and local businesses come together for a day. This helps foster community connections and encourages these kids to think of our local businesses when they need assistance for real-life events, which is inevitable. Reality Check provides an excellent opportunity for adolescents to gain some insight into the many responsibilities of adulthood while offering the students an opportunity to think about their career choices. If you or your business are interested in hosting a booth, please sign up here: https://signup.com/go/TBApyHQ
