Did you take our Main Street Survey a few weeks ago? Whether you did or not, we need your vision! Our Main Street Coordinator has been working hard on revitalization efforts. But, at the end of the day, the vision needs to come from our community. We want to know: What would make you want to spend your time downtown? So, we invite you to come snack on a giant charcuterie board and share your vision of how our downtown should look as we revitalize using the 4-point approach! •Economic Vitality •Design •Promotion •Organization This is a chance to give your input and have your voice heard on what you think the heart of our community should be! Each participant will get their own board to showcase their ideal Main Street. Art supplies for vision boards will be provided along with refreshments, courtesy of the Borger, Inc. - the Borger Economic Development Corporation! Artistic talent not needed - just a vision 😉

This contest also allows for more genres and more diversity in the music than ever before. You'll still get the huge stage & professional production, food trucks, vendors, and beer. If you had fun at Mom Prom, you're going to love this! We're transforming the Dome into a playground for the young-at-heart! We'll have craft cocktails, or mocktails (for those not trying for both a high and low ankle sprain), BYOB option, snow cones (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), photobooth, classic skate games, and a DJ! Don't forget to dress from the 70's! We'll be crowning the best dressed. $10 Ticket sales go directly towards PROJECT SHIELD. In order for them to be eligible for prizes, they must complete their modules. You can do this on the app, for free! Borger Youth Advisory Council Applications for the 2024-2025 School Year are OPEN! 🥳 The BYAC is for High School Students 14-18 years of age. 👨‍🎨 2024 Dumpster Art submissions are now OPEN! Last day to submit your artwork will be June 7th, at 5PM. 👩‍🎨 Things to know: Any theme is appropriate as long as it complies with the following restrictions: 1.) No copyrighted images 2.) No offensive language or graphics 3.) No nudity •Submit your design to Deidra Thomas at City Hall by June 7th, 2024, at 5PM. •Include your name and contact information. •You must be able to recreate your design within 7 days of starting. •All ages are welcome. •We will provide a workspace and a generous amount of paint. •Three submissions will be selected. •Once completed, winners will be selected through a public poll. • 1st Place= $150 | 2nd Place= $100 | 3rd Place= $50 You are welcome to come by City Hall and pick up a printed packet if you would like one.
