One hundred years ago, our "rough around the edges" oil boomtown sprouted up overnight in the Texas Panhandle and began writing a story of grit, resilience, hard work, and community. Now, a century later, we invite you to gather with us at Crawford Park to honor the people, places, and stories that shaped Borger into the city it is today.

The ceremony will include:
• 2026 Centennial plaque dedication
• Historical reflections as we dig up an old time capsule and bury a new one.
• Lunch in the park
