The City of Borger is excited to announce the 2026 Neighborhood Cleanup Schedule, giving residents multiple opportunities throughout the year to tidy up their properties, beautify their neighborhoods, and take pride in the place we all call home.
Each cleanup event provides free disposal options for bulk waste, brush, and other unwanted items—making it easier than ever to keep Borger’s neighborhoods clean, safe, and welcoming.
Our neighborhood cleanups are one of the most effective and community-driven ways to improve our city’s appearance and quality of life. By participating, residents not only keep Borger beautiful, but also strengthen community pride and help prevent illegal dumping.
Our Neighborhood Cleanup events are strategically scheduled throughout 2026 to serve all areas of the city. Residents can find the full Neighborhood Cleanup Calendar on the City of Borger’s website and social media pages. Each cleanup will feature designated drop-off locations and specific collection times.
Acceptable items typically include bulk trash, small furniture, brush, and other non-hazardous household waste. Unacceptable items such as tires, paint, batteries, and chemicals should be properly disposed of through the Transfer Station.
Residents are encouraged to plan ahead for their neighborhood’s cleanup date and take advantage of this free community service. By working together, Borger can continue to build cleaner neighborhoods, safer streets, and a stronger sense of community.
