"Lake Meredith Birthday Hike"

Wednesday, March 15th, will mark the 58th Birthday of Lake Meredith National Recreation Area. On this day, a special hike will be given to celebrate. A guided hike will be offered at Alibates Flint Quarries National Monument and the group will leave from Alibates Visitor Center at 1:00 PM. On this hike, participants will see beautiful views of the lake and learn about the history of Lake Meredith from a national park ranger. Get out and enjoy a beautiful hike in nature with us.

Located in the heart of the Texas Panhandle, Lake Meredith NRA is one of the most popular outdoor destinations in the region, drawing visitors from all over the country. The “Birthday Hike” will take place on March 15th, 2023, at 1:00 pm.
